Schoeps RCY 700/2 I M/S active extension tube for Colette, 70cm, Binder, incl. RG 8
The RCY is available in standard lengths of 350, 700 and 1200 mm.
Standard cable length: 2 meters
A rubber ring for securing a microphone capsule (especially the MK 8) in its position is included.
- small, particularly unobtrusive stereo arrangement
- a swivel at the upper end allows angles from 0° to 120° to be set
- also suitable for use as part of a “Straus-Paket“
Overview
Two capsules from the Colette modular system are screwed onto the front end of the RCY active stereo extension tube.
For M/S they would be one figure-8 for the side channel and one capsule of another pattern (e.g. MK 4 cardioid or MK 41 supercardioid) for the mid channel.
A cable exits from the lower end of the tube and can be connected either to the VST 62 IUg stereo microphone amplifier or to the VMS 5 U microphone preamplifier with matrix.
A rubber ring between (e.g. the figure-8) capsule and the thread keeps the capsule in its intended orientation.
