Maxx - Mixer with AES and 6-Channel recording

The Zax-Maxx has 6 analog inputs, 4 with mic pre amps featuring NeverClip™ and 2 AES digital inputs that can be used with AES42 microphones.  All these inputs can be mixed into a two-channel output bus over two sets of output connectors that can be individually configured as line, mic and consumer output levels as well as a balanced mono and tape out. There are four AES direct outs + an AES stereo mix. The two-channel balanced camera returns doubles as balanced line level inputs.

Main Benefits

  • Mixer: Do it yourself or let the 10-channel auto-mixer take over in the face of unscripted dialog
  • Recorder: 8 Channels of audio with a dynamic range of 137dB in MARF and BWF on a single CompactFlash card, up to 4 of them at 192kHz
  • Transmitter (Optional): A built-in UHF stereo transmitter sends audio and timecode to your QRX with 100mW of power
